Heart Disease in Women
More than 40-percent of women in the United States have some form of heart disease. And according to the CDC it is the leading cause of death for women in the U. S. and can affect women at any age. Dr. Marta Sayers retired from her cardiology practice but she still spends time educating women on heart disease.
In this edition of Sisterhood of the Second Act she talks about some of the unusual signs she has seen in her practice that indicated heart disease in her patients. These unusual signs include burping, shooting pains down both arms not just the left one and back and shoulder pain.
