Tina works women over 45 many who continue to struggle with disordered eating, and body image, while navigating hormonal changes and the natural changes that occur in our bodies. She explains what intuitive eating is and how we can use it to improve our relationship with food.
Bladder Control
Bladder control issues is just one common women’s health conditions that can be helped with physical therapy. Francine Noël-Ford, PT, DPT, PhD,OCS, MBA, MTC, owns Back to Basics Family Physical Therapy. As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, she has dedicated part of her practice to treating women’s health issues including pelvic pain and incontinence.
After having children she recognized that women in this demographic are under served. She knew from experience that physical therapy could help or even cure some women’s health issues that are often treated with medication. Francine says she has seen physical therapy give women their lives back. Clients suffering from bladder control issues regain control. Women experiencing pelvic pain can once again have intercourse without pain or with less pain. As she explains in this edition of Sisterhood of the Second Act the goal of physical therapy is to restore the body.
