Laurie Beth Moyer, is a certified physician’s assistant and the Fracture Liaison Service Orthopaedic & Neurosciences Team Lead at LewisGale Physicians. She joins us today to tell us how we can fight this devastating condition.

Trailblazing Journalist
Sandra Brown Kelly was one of the first women reporters at the World News and Roanoke Times. Her long career has taken her all over the country with a second act teaching in college.
During her nearly 40-year career, Sandra Brown Kelly worked for both the Roanoke World News which was an afternoon paper, and the Roanoke Times was a morning newspaper. While she was one of the first women reporters, she didn’t start her career as a writer. As it turns out a retail job helped her get her foot in the door.
In this edition of Sisterhood of the Second Act, Kelly tells stories from her career such has protesting the publisher’s efforts to stop women from wearing pants to work and what it was like to work the day of the Kennedy assassination.
