Stephanie Klein-Davis is an award-winning photojournalist who has who spent nearly 4 decades telling stories with her camera. Now she’s training the next generation.
When Stephanie Klein-Davis began her photojournalism career back in the 1980s she was one of only a few women news photographers. Her talent, toughness, and persistence on stories fortified the news coverage with often dramatic images.
In this episode, Klein-Davis talks about her experiences and her favorite stories which include work with then Roanoke Times reporter Beth Macy on the story that inspired her New York Times best seller, Factory Man. One of Klein-Davis’ photos adorns the back cover of the book.
Now Klein-Davis is teaching the next generation of creatives. Inspiring them to notice the world around them and share their perspectives with others through photography.
