Tammy Rickman says the real estate market has been hot. Still the pandemic has impacted the industry. Like many other businesses much of the selling has been moved online with virtual tours, making great pictures and videos even more important. Still, there are many opportunities for both investors and new homeowners. Rickman offers tips on finding a mortgage broker and the right property in episode 3 of Sisterhood of the Second Act.
Home Staging
What Kim Nicholson does is an art. She takes a home and depersonalizes it so potential buyers can come in and see themselves living in the space. Nicholson “shops” the home using the owner’s things to stage the house. She encourages homeowners to get rid of worn items and freshens up the look.
According to Nicholson staged homes sell faster and often for more money offering the homeowner a good return on the investment they make when hiring a stager.
